2016 was another milestone year for Gemini Motor Transport . Drivers were as safe and active as ever, playing a pivotal role in the more than 40 locations Love's opened this year.

"It was an outstanding year for Gemini," said Love's Vice President of Transportation Brent Bergevin. "We won the NTTC Safety Award and reduced our number of accidents. Everything starts with our drivers. There are no better drivers in the world than the Gemini fleet. They are out there making it happen every day."

Gemini drivers were busy serving Customers in more ways than one. In January, drivers in Nashville raised money for a local reading program. Johnny Moncrief helped an elderly couple with a flat tire in Alabama, and Paul Thurkow fought fires in Pennsylvania.

The trophy case got fuller with an NTTC Safety Award. Speaking of safety, we awarded drivers with five years of perfect driving with some big checks.

A bigger, badder tanker was unveiled to keep locations in the northeast fueled up. We also took a more detailed look at one of the most interesting tankers in our fleet.

So what can we anticipate for Gemini in 2017?

"Very similar to 2016 there will be more loads, miles, drivers and trucks," said Bergevin. "We will also build up some traction with our crude trucks. We've got a lot of projects in the works to enhance our systems to make the driver-experience better and reduce frustrations."

Cheers to everyone at Gemini for another great year!
