Love's fuel tanker brings awareness to CMN hospitals

Nine months ago, Love’s and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals embarked on a unique project. It involved some paper, a little bit of glue and a 9,600 gallon fuel tanker. The result was a CMN Hospitals-themed Gemini tanker.

The tanker delivers fuel to Love’s locations across Oklahoma and simultaneously serves as a constant reminder to communities about the impact of CMN Hospitals. A veteran of four-and-a-half-years, Gemini driver Stan Gootee was bestowed the job to be the man behind the wheel.

“This is better than driving a regular tanker because it brings awareness to a cause,” said Gootee. “I am proud to drive this tanker because it sponsors something special.”

The tanker is not only a visual representation of a thriving partnership, but also serves as a constant reminder that we can all make a difference.

“Store employees take pictures of the tanker and that’s really cool,” said Gootee. “It brings awareness to drivers and the Customers at our stores.”

Like peanut butter and jelly, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, Simon and Garfunkel, Love’s and CMN Hospitals make a great combination. Since beginning its affiliation with CMN Hospitals in 1998, Love's and its Customers have raised more than $14 million to help sick children in communities where it operates stores.

Love’s is proud to spread CMN Hospitals cheer to hundreds of store employees and thousands of drivers in a unique way.
