CMN Hospitals Miracle Child Chloe Visits Love’s Travel Stops

Miracle Child Chloe and Her Dad

You’ve seen her in Love’s social media posts and on our store signs, but now she’s at Love’s in person! The face of our Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals 2018 fundraising campaign, Miracle Child Chloe, stopped in at Love’s 312 in Roseburg, Oregon, to see how the team was doing. She even bought a Miracle Balloon to donate to the cause!

Donating to CMN Hospitals means a lot to Chloe because she was once a CMN Hospitals patient.

Chloe was diagnosed with leukemia when she was just five years old. Her father, Jason, is a professional truck driver and he rushed home from the road as soon as he heard the news.

"He was heartbroken," Cynthia, Chloe’s mom, said, "He stopped what he was doing and came home for the first couple of weeks of her treatment."

Chloe's family saw a personal connection with funds from CMN Hospitals, beyond the overarching support of Asante. Funding from the CMN Hospitals directly helped Chloe with her treatment by paying for a port for Chloe to receive oncology treatments as well as a vein finder machine. The vein finder made her visit to the hospital a lot less stressful.

Now, Chloe has made a full recovery and she hopes to be a pediatric oncologist one day; just like the doctors that helped her. Until then, she’s doing an amazing job at spreading the word for CMN Hospitals and kids just like her.
